T-82 is one candy-scooping robot

by Mark R - on January 12, 2011
This is the T-82 robot, and it’s purpose is to give out candy.
This isn’t the first time that I have seen a food-serving robot. I believe that there is a restaurant that has robot servers.
You’ll note that there is some sort of medieval armor or something on this. Perhaps the T-82 is meant for a Renaissance Fair. Granted, I don’t think that there were any robots during the Renaissance.

This Carry-On Bag can split into three parts

by Mark R - on January 12, 2011
Some of you have had to travel on an airplane with one of those roll-on carry-on bags, and may have had the unfortunate surprise of not having the bag fit in the overhead compartment.
Fortunately, this particular bag from Truco allows the user to make it smaller, by separating it into three individual pieces.
The twenty-inch bag consists of a carry-on suitcase, a laptop bag, as well as a personal valuables bag. All of these three sections can be securely joined together, and then can be easily separated.

Mindflex is about to go head-to-head

by Mark R - on January 12, 2011
Some of you might be familiar with Mindflex. It is a toy that we have reported on before that allows the user/player to concentrate to create some kind of telekinesis to move a ball up and down through an obstacle course.
You’ll be pleased to know that Mindflex is about to incorporate the marriage of two minds. With Mindflex Duel, you can play against an opponent.
I’m not certain how it works. Is there supposed to be two balls that each player is controlling, or is there one ball that each player is attempting to control?

Television To Internet Converter

by Edwin - on January 12, 2011
We know that Sony has decided to revolutionize the way TV works this year at CES by integrating even more of the Internet inside, but what happens when you are still rocking to an old school TV and decide to go against the grain by not upgrading your TV once every couple of years? That’s what theTelevision To Internet Converter is for then – this nifty little device is capable of turning your television into an Internet browser. Basically, it will require a fairly recent TV that has an HDMI port so that it can hook into there, using the included cable to communicate with a wired or wireless home Internet connection. The television’s screen will show off a proprietary web browser that relies on a virtual keyboard that is controlled from the included remote. Apart from that, it will show off various information such as the time, weather, and calendar, while sporting bookmarks for popular websites including YouTube and Google Maps. No full HD here as it maxes out at 720p resolution. You can bring home the Television To Internet Converter for grandpa at $199.95 each.

LEGO Nintendo Wii Controller

by Edwin - on January 12, 2011

We know that the Nintendo Wii tends to target kids more than adults, what with the bunch of shovelware out there that concentrates a whole lot more on easy and fun experiences without much depth. Well, to make life more colorful, how about getting your little ones the LEGO Nintendo Wii Controller then? At £34.99 a pop, it might be rather pricey, but at least it offers a LEGO twist to a fully operational Wiimote. This is a fully licensed LEGO product that has the collective nod of agreement from the suits over at Nintendo as well, sporting a speaker, accelerometers, rumble effects, control buttons and a wrist strap. After all, having this fly and hit your TV or someone squarely in the face is going to hurt even more. Nice to know you need not work on constructing all the innards, otherwise a rocket science degree might be required.

Mad Catz offers new range of mice

by Edwin - on January 12, 2011

Mad Catz is a name that is more often than not associated with video games, is back to deliver something more formal and less casual – the new range of colored lifestyle mice that is meant to see action with the personal computer, where it will fall under the company’s Eclipse home and office brand. Boasting a rather striking slim-line design as well as a tactile ‘high-gloss’ premium finish, this new colored mobilemouse will come in either white or red shades, although those who prefer to opt for something more traditional can always get it in the classic black format. We would settle for the white or red colors simply because they look chic, but when it comes to practicality, nothing beats black at all – after all, the dirt and grime which gathers on a black-colored mouse is certainly going to be a whole lot harder to see, right?

Cambridge Audio goes 3D with 751BR 3D Blu-ray Universal player

by Edwin - on January 12, 2011

You know that stereoscopic 3D is being pushed down users’ throats at the recently concluded CES, and that the next big battle for our hard earned money would have something to do with content provided in the 3D ecosystem. Well, Cambridge Audio from the UK does not want to miss out on this potential cash cow by rolling out their 751BR 3D Blu-ray Universal player. “What?”, you groan, as yet another Blu-ray player enters an already crowded market. Well, things aren’t too bad actually, since there aren’t too many 3D Blu-ray players available just yet so early adopters to the game might just send some of their hard earned dollars Cambridge Audio’s way. To know more about what the 751BR is capable of offering, why not read on in the extended post?
